SERVICES
Grading & Drainage
Our team includes experienced excavators and engineers skilled in providing grading and drainage solutions. We provide services for residential customers that include yard regrading and expansions. We also help homeowners address flooding issues through use of grading and installation of area drains, catch basins, and drywells. We also provide services for property managers and businesses, fixing anything from a sunken catch basin and asphalt patching to installing complex stormwater systems including water quality unit and treatment installs.

Title V Septic System Construction & Repair
Our team provides Title V septic system repair, replacement and new construction services. We perform septic tank repairs and replacements including tank riser installs, as well as leach field installs and replacements. We provide these services for residential customers, commercial property owners, and for developers.

Excavation & Earthmoving
We provide excavation, stripping, cut and fill, structural filling, and grading services projects ranging to a residential back yard to a large development. In additional to full site development earthmoving work we provide foundation, addition and pool excavation and backfill services. When needed our process includes computer modeling, earthwork planning, topographic verification survey, intelligent machine control, and old school experience. Our team includes operators who can truly see a site and grade.

Water, Sewer, & Drain Pipe
Our team is our value, and our pipelayers run our crews. We provide repair, replacement, emergency, and new construction water, sewer, and drain services for residential, municipal, commercial, and builders. When it comes to underground piping, our team are true tradesmen with excellent craftmanship. Aside from new installs of mains, services and laterals, our work includes broken or leaking water main repairs and replacements, broken or crushed sewer pipe repairs and replacements, as well as foundation drain, trench drain, and French drain installs and repairs.

Heavy Civil Construction
Our team has battled groundwater in deep excavations for years, Our dewatering experience and equipment has developed from encountering different soils and site conditions. Safety is a top priority on these projects, as with all projects. We have installed many large septic tanks, deep pump stations, stream crossing bridges & culverts.

Retaining Walls, Pool Demolition & Landscape Construction
To bring our sitework services full circle, we provide landscape construction services. We construct gravity, cantilever, segmented block, and geogrid reinforced retaining walls. We also provide yard grading, loam spreading and hydroseed services. We also provide pool excavation, pool removal, and pool demolition services

We provide design, plan review, cut and fill calculations, topo verification, constructability, means & methods, cost estimation & budgeting, value engineering, inspectional, SWPPP Filing and Inspection, Title V Inspections, soil evaluation, and geotechnical consulting services.

Services for Property Management Companies
No job is too small. We have been performing sunken catch basin repairs, sunken manhole cover, gate box repairs, curb repairs, asphalt patches, concrete sidewalk patches, and water, sewer, and drain repairs for property managers since our start. We are familiar with working with and satisfying Boards of Trustees.

Jones Contracting, Inc. was founded in 2004 by Russell and Jeanette Jones with the help of Jeff Jones, followed by Russ Jr. and Paul Hutcheson learning from them over the years. After earning an M.Eng. in civil engineering and spending some years in design, Russ Jr. returned to Jones Contracting full time in 2014. Now 18 team members strong, the company provides a very unique level of knowledge, insight, and project guidance for its customers. We're at the ready to provide full sitework packages for developers, to install water and sewer connections in Boston city streets, to install water and sewer mains in a state highway, to put in a simple septic system, or do a tear down for a home builder.
